He also emphasized the role of teachers who not only act as learning agents, but also as agents of civilization. Teachers play a role in educating students to have brains, skills, and noble characters.
In line with the vision of quality education for all, his party is also trying to improve the quality of teachers through three priority programs. First, the fulfillment of teacher qualifications in stages.
Second, the party is also committed to improving teacher competency not limited to academic, pedagogical, moral, and social competency, but also entrepreneurship and leadership through various training.
Third, the ministry is trying to improve teacher welfare through certification for both ASN PNS and PPPK teachers, as well as non-ASN. With improved welfare, he hopes that teachers can improve their dedication and quality of learning.
No less importantly, he also added that the government is committed to ensuring the safety of teachers so that they can work peacefully and free from all forms of intimidation and acts of violence by anyone.

Regarding teacher protection, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education will sign a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with the Indonesian National Police so that problems of violence in education are resolved peacefully and amicably or restorative justice," said the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu’ti.
