Central Sulawesi Regional Police Holds Press Conference on Disclosure of 29 Kg of Methamphetamine

In his explanation, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Chief said that this disclosure began when personnel from the Central Sulawesi Regional Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation received information regarding the smuggling activity of methamphetamine originating from Malaysia into the Central Sulawesi region by sea on November 3, 2021. After investigating for one month, precisely On December 25, 2021, personnel from the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police assisted by the Customs and Excise of Palu managed to arrest a suspect with the initials D, who was the target in Dondasa Hamlet, Siboang Village, Sojol District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. In the disclosure of this case, the team from the Central Sulawesi Regional Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation managed to secure D (39), a resident of Siboang, Sojol District; R (43) a resident of Pesik Village, North Sojol District; S (40) resident of Tolitoli Regency; A (35) resident of Sandaran, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan; and H (36) from Batu 13 Apas, State of Sabah Malaysia. "In addition to arresting the perpetrators, we also secured 29 packages of methamphetamine-type narcotics weighing 29 kilograms, one ship unit, five mobile phones, an improvised firearm and three rounds of ammunition," added the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Chief," added the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.
