The Indonesian National Police's Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) Anti-Terror Unit has arrested another terrorist suspects in East Java and Central Java. “From our latest investigation, we have arrested another two suspects in Central Java and East Java,” quote the Head of Public Information Section of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko from Antara on Wednesday (1/31/2024). According to him, the two suspects are linked to the previous 10 terrorist suspects from Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) who were arrested in Solo Raya, Central Java on Thursday (1/25/2024). However, Trunoyudo still could not provide details of the suspect role and identity. Other than arrest, the special unit also raided and search the location after the arrest. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
