inp.polri.go.id - Makassar. A toddler named Bilqis (4) was reported missing while playing in Pakui Sayang Park on AP Pettarani street, Makassar, on Sunday (11/2/2025). Bilqis was initially accompanied by her father at the park, but was left alone after the father joined a tennis session at the park.

After examining the CCTV footage, personnel from the Makassar Sub-regional City Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Head of the Panakkukang Sector Police Criminal Investigation Unit moved quickly to find Bilqis.

After a lengthy process, Bilqis was finally found by police in Jambi on November 8, 2025.

Then, Makassar Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Arya Perdana, returned Bilqis to her parents on Sunday (11/9/2025).

The reunion between them was emotional, with Bilqis crying as she got out of the Makassar City Police's Criminal Investigation Unit.

Bilqis was previously reported missing and was successfully found by a police team in Merangin Regency, Jambi Province, on Saturday (11/8/2025). This success was the result of the hard work between police ranks.

"After several days she has gone missing, thanks to the efforts and prayers of the people of Makassar, we are glad that she was found last night and was able to return to Makassar today," said Arya.

The Police Chief also confirmed that Bilqis is in good condition.

"Previously, we did a health check on her, and thankfully there were no signs of abuse. Psychologically, she is also doing well, and she seems cheerful. Hopefully, she hasn't suffered any trauma," he said.

Furthermore, the Makassar Police Chief emphasized that the legal process regarding this case will be handled by the Makassar Sub-regional City Police, while Bilqis can now return home and reunite with her family.
