inp.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. In helping the community to meet their daily basic needs during Ramadan, Vice Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police, Brigadier General Simson Zet Ringu, attended and reviewed the cheap market established by the Gorontalo Provincial Office at the Police Headquarters.

Head of Public Relations of the Gorontalo Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Desmont Harjendro, said that his review not only demonstrates support from the police, but also an effort to strengthen relations between the police and the community in maintaining security and mutual welfare.

"The Gorontalo Regional Police do not only focus on law enforcement, but also actively support positive activities such as subsidized cheap markets that directly benefit the community," he explained on Friday (3/21/2025).

Furthermore, he said that this kind of activity not only provides material assistance to the community, but also strengthens the involvement of the police institution in efforts to improve social welfare.

"The spirit of collaboration and synergy between these agencies is expected to be an example for other regions in efforts to build solidarity and social independence in the community," he concluded.
