To manage holiday traffic, the government blended work from office and remote work, also known as work from home (WFH), for civil servants on 16 and 17 April 2024 Minister of Administrative Reform Bureaucracy Abdullah Azwar Anas said on Saturday (13/4/2024) that government agencies that engage in public services have to maintain full work from office, but  those handling administrative functions and leadership support, could reduce it to 50%. The adjustments aimed to facilitate smooth traffic flow during the holiday season, ensuring a hassle-free return journey for travelers, he said. Minister Anas underscored public oversight importance, urging government agencies to offer consultation and complaint mechanisms, ensuring efficient service delivery even during the holiday period.
