inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno led a Ministerial Level Meeting (RTM), regarding the development of the eruption disaster of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in East Flores.
In his statement, he states that Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki's eruptive activity is still ongoing today. "But there are no signs of an increase," he said.
However, despite the ongoing volcanic activity, the radius of the security area has been reduced. However, evacuation services are still maintained as much as possible to ensure the safety of residents.
He also said that the number of centralized refugees has decreased. Currently, the number of residents who have fled is recorded at around 5,117 people.
Data shows that more local residents are choosing to evacuate independently.
He said that they chose to live with their families in places that are quite far from Mount Lewotobi. "There are more independent refugees, as many as 6,417 people," he said.
