inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Health Ministry will give firm sanctions to hospitals involved in health insurance (BPJS) fictitious claim cases. Apart from that, the hospital's practice license could be revoked.
The statement was conveyed by the Health Ministry Inspector General Murti Utami during a discussion held at Red and White Building KPK, Kuningan, South Jakarta on Wednesday (7/24/2024).
“We directly came to the field for review. We already have the data from BPJS but we still have to verify it,” says Murti Utami.
Murti says that her party still has the complete data to reveal the findings. She assures that the Health Ministry will give firm sanctions to hospitals and doctors involved in the scam.
She adds that in the mapping process by the ministry, there are eight scam methods for the health insurance claims at several hospitals, from phantom billing to gratification.
