Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia has dispatched 14 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies to Gaza through the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) in partnership with Egyptian charity Mishr Al Kheir.
The trucks, loaded with 20,000 cartons of aid, departed from storage facilities in Egypt’s Ismailia to Arish before crossing into Gaza.
“Thanks to our cooperation with Mishr Al Kheir, we successfully sent 14 trucks with 20,000 cartons of supplies for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. This reflects Baznas’ commitment to ensuring aid reaches those most in need,” said Baznas Chairman Noor Achmad in Jakarta on Friday (26/99/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He said that the aid shipment is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s recent UN General Assembly speech reaffirming Indonesia’s full support for Palestinian independence.
Beyond logistics, Noor described the mission as a symbol of solidarity and compassion from Indonesians. Baznas vowed to continue humanitarian support and back the government’s diplomatic push for Palestine amid Gaza’s ongoing blockade and humanitarian crisis.
