Indonesian National Police Chief Extends Eid Greetings

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, extended warm Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community. Through his Instagram account @listyosigitprabowo, he conveyed these wishes on Tuesday (9/10/2024). "On behalf of the entire Indonesian National Police and Bhayangkari family, I wish everyone a happy Eid al-Fitr 1445H," Chief Sigit said. Encouraging the spirit of Eid as a unifying force for nation-building, he said, "Eid al-Fitr symbolizes the return to the essence of human purity." Chief Sigit emphasized the beauty of tolerance in diversity, fostering unity. "We complement each other to face the future," he remarked. "It's time to return home, savor the aroma of Eid feasts, and cherish the warmth of togetherness. The Police are committed to safeguarding and serving our nation," he asserted. The post garnered 1,490 likes and 52 comments, including expressions of gratitude and well wishes. The government declared Eid al-Fitr to be on 10 April 2024.
