Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the country’s 5.04% economic growth in the third quarter of 2025 demonstrates that the State Budget (APBN) has been managed effectively and continues to support household consumption and business performance.

“APBN plays a key role in maintaining people’s purchasing power and strengthening business competitiveness at the global level,” he said on Friday (7/11/2025). “Fiscal support also includes the prudent placement of Rp200 trillion in state funds to ensure liquidity and sustained investment realization.”

Minister Purbaya added that economic momentum had helped create 1.9 million jobs, reducing unemployment to 4.85%. Household consumption grew 4.89% year-on-year, while government spending rose 5.49%. Investment expanded 5.04%, reflecting stronger business confidence and stable policy. Exports surged 9.91% on robust manufacturing and downstream industries.

He said that the government remains optimistic about achieving its full-year target of 5.2% growth through synchronized fiscal, financial, and investment policies, according to antaranews.com
