inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The investigators of the Corruption Criminal Investigation Directorate of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency have examined and scheduled witnesses for the alleged case of corruption in the procurement of street lights by the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE). However, the identities of these witnesses were not stated.

“Six other witnesses have been scheduled for examination,” says the Deputy Director of INP Corruption Criminal Investigation Directorate, Senior Superintendent Arief Adiharsa on Thursday (7/25/2024).

On the other hand, Arief reveals that his party has already examined 16 witnesses for the case investigation.

In the case investigation, investigators are still studying the evidence seized from the Directorate General of EBTKE office. Moreover, investigators are also analyzing witness statements.

“If we have solved the evidence, obviously we will identify and announce the suspect,” Arief said.
