inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. Lampung Regional Police Medical Unit held a technical working meeting and Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) training at Novotel hotel on Thursday (8/29/2024).

The activity was opened by the Vice Chief of Lampung Regional Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan and attended by regional and sub-regional police members in Lampung.

The training aimed to improve personnel skills in identifying victim bodies in various incidents, from disasters such as plane crash to bomb detonation.

Head of Lampung Regional Police Police Doctor Sub-directorate, Legowo Hamijaya highlights the importance of the training prepared by the team to prepare personnel in facing emergency situations.

“We want to ensure all of our medical unit members in Lampung have the proper skills. If there is a mass disaster, our members must be ready in treating the victims and able to identify them,” said Legowo.

The training, says Legowo, hopefully can solidify the preparation and skills of DVI team in carrying out their duties in the field, so that their identification process can be performed efficiently and on time.
