According to him, one of the reasons for the intention to escape is due to biological needs.

 "It is possible that the prisoners or convicts cannot stand not having relations with their wives for so long. But this room is only for prisoners or convicts who have legal wives and must be proven with a valid marriage certificate," Muslim said, on Saturday (3/15/2025).

He also did not deny that there is potential for misappropriation by prison or detention center officers with the existence of the love room. As has been widely reported about the unofficial love room which has become a business field for officers in one of the detention centers in Jakarta.

Therefore, he said, strict supervision is needed and ensuring that inmates get the same rights to the love room. 

"The method can be rotated for prisoners who already have legal wives," he explained.
