Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police ( deployed 350 officers in large-scale patrols across the capital on Monday (1/9/2025), aiming to restore order after recent violent demonstrations.
The operation was supported by community organizations and covered key districts from Jatinegara in East Jakarta to Daan Mogot in West Jakarta, including residential alleys.
“Our goal in conducting this large-scale patrol is to maintain security and comfort in Jakarta. We hope residents can return to normal life without disruptions, working and moving around peacefully,” said Senior SuperintendentI Ketut Gede Wijatmika, the Director of Operations of the Metro Jaya Police, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The police emphasized that security in Jakarta and nationwide has returned to a stable condition.
Authorities also urged the public to avoid misinformation and verify news sources.
