inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Hundreds of personnel deployed to secure the Gubernatorial Election Campaign in Jakarta. The personnel consisted personnel from Metro Jaya Regional Jaya, the military of Kodam Jaya, Jakarta Government officials, and other related stakeholders.

“We deployed 180 personnel to secure the election campaign in Jakarta during the 2024 Mantap Praja Jaya Operation,” says Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam.

The operation, he said, will prioritize the preemptive-preventive approach in maintaining public security and order.

“We will use a preemptive and preventive approach in this operation, with the main goal of maintaining a conducive situation and preventing disturbances,” said Ade.

According to Ade, 180 deployed personnel are joined in the regional operation task force and will be spread into three main regions in Jakarta. Of the hundreds of personnel, 44 were dispatched to North Jakarta, 22 in Central Jakarta, 22 in East Jakarta, and 92 in South Jakarta.
