Inp.polri.go.id – North Sulawesi. The North Sulawesi Regional Police, Inspector General Yudhiawan Wibisono and the Vice Governor Steven Octavianus Estefanus Kandouw, along with the Regional Military Commander Merdeka XIII Major General Candra Wijaya inspects the availability and prices of supplies in Bersehati Market on Saturday (4/6/2024). “Today, we visited the Bersehati Market to see the price situation ahead of Eid Al-Fitr,” says the Vice Governor of North Sulawesi. According to him, the price supply usually spikes as Eid Al-Fitr looms. “Fortunately, the price did not rocketed as we feared. It is still normal and the stock is enough,” adds Steven. The Vice Governor of North Sulawesi then expressed his gratitude towards Bulog for the support in procuring the supply. “At least we can conclude the condition in Bersehati Market is the same as the other markets in North Sulawesi. The regional government along with other stakeholders pledges to monitor the supply availability in the province ahead Eid Al-Fitr,” said Steven. Meanwhile, the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Yudhiawan Wibisono implores the public to remain calm and not to hoard supplies. “To the merchants and distributors, we also implore you not to hoard or hold the supply as that could trigger chaos,” remind the police chief.
