Inp.polri.go.id - Tanjung Selor. The North Kalimantan Regional Police seized 21.3 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine across four separate cases throughout July 2025, arresting ten suspects.
“This was the result of coordinated operations with various agencies. We are committed to fighting narcotics at all levels,” said North Kalimantan Police Chief, Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto, on Friday (25/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The seizures took place in Tarakan, Bulungan, and Malinau. Among the suspects are nine men and one woman. The largest single haul, which amounted 12.3 kg, was intercepted at Tengkayu Port, Tarakan.
“There’s zero tolerance. Any violations, even from within the institution, will face strict legal action,” Chief Hary asserted.
