inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of North Kalimantan Regional Police, Inspector General Jonathan Hary Sudwijanto sends his personal bodyguards to the candidates of governor and vice-governor of North Kalimantan for the 2024 Regional Head Election.

“This is part of the commitment of North Kalimantan Regional Police in supporting the election in the province,” says Inspector General Hary on Wednesday (9/25/2024).

According to him, this step is a preventive step to anticipate disturbance potentials and ensure every candidate can safely campaign without worry.

As part of a strategic step in securing the election in North Kalimantan, the police chief officially handed over his personal bodyguard to the pairs of the election candidates.

The handing over, which was ceremoniously held at North Kalimantan General Election Commission office, demonstrates the dedication of North Kalimantan Regional Police in securing one of the vital election objects which are the governor and vice-governor candidates.

"This handover is not just an administrative process, but also sends a strong message about the importance of strengthening election security at all stages," he explained.
