North Kalimantan Regional Police Thwarted the Smuggling of 16 Kg Meth

Inp.polri.go.id – North Kalimantan. The North Kalimantan Regional Police arrest a courier with the initials of Y who is found smuggling drugs through milk cans.

The Director of North Kalimantan Regional Police Drug Criminal Investigation, Senior Superintendent Agus Yulianto says that the suspect planned to smuggle the drugs from Tawau, Malaysia to Tunon Taka Port.

“A courier with the initials of Y was arrested for smuggling drugs that he put inside into 26 milk cans from Tawau, Malaysia,” says Senior Superintendent Agus Yulianto on Thursday (4/25/2024).

Agus says that from the case uncovering, police confiscate a total of 16 kilograms of meth after finding the drugs inside 26 milk cans. The drugs are said to be sent to Parepare, South Sulawesi.

“Suspect Y was ordered by J from Malaysia,” continued Agus.

Furthermore, the courier has been determined as suspect and is being held behind the cell bars, awaiting for his trial.
