Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  A member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) will soon stand on trial after the Nduga Sub-regional Police completed the investigation and transferred the case to the Wamena Prosecutor’s Office.

"We've completed the second stage. Before handing over to the Prosecutor, we checked the suspect's health," explained Nduga Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit First Inspector Jaya Bida Kedeng, on Wednesday (8/5/2024).

The suspect, identified as Epson Nirigi, is a KKB member from Kodap III Ndugama, a subordinate of Egianus Kogoya, who involved in various criminal activities,. 

He is named in the wanted list of the Nduga Police, according to  Senior Superintendent  Faizal Ramadhani, the Chief of the Damai Cartenz Operation 2024. 

"He was arrested at Hotel Lavela In in, Mimika, while attending a meeting on Vote Recapitulation in Jita District, Mimika regency, Central Papua," he explained.

Superintendent Dr. Bayu Suseno, the Damai Cartenz Operation 2024’s Head of Public Relations, highlighted Nirigi's role as an ammunition and weapon supplier. 

Hesaid  that the task force seized various items during the arrest, including cash and personal belongings.
