inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The North Maluku Regional Police deploys 256 personnel to secure the determination and ballot drawing of Governor and Vice Governor candidates in the 2024 Regional Head Election.

Head of North Maluku Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Bambang Suharyono explains that personnel deployment is a follow up from the North Maluku Regional Police instruction to ensure a safe and orderly situation during the election.

 “This security operation is according to the direction of North Maluku Regional Police number Sprin/949/IX/OPS.1.3/2024 that was issued on September 18th, 2024,” says Bambang on Monday (9/23/2024).

He emphasized the importance of personnel role in maintaining order and security during the election process.

Moreover, he appeals to the people of North Maluku to support the police effort in maintaining the situation and overseeing the election process.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of North Maluku General Election Commission Technical Division, Reni Syafruddin A Banjar, says that the ballot drawing for the candidates will be held openly for the public at the North Maluku General Election Commission Office in Sofifi.

“After the ballot drawing, on September 23rd there will be a determination of the ballot numbers for candidate pairs in Sofifi, also at 14.00 local time," Reni said.
