Inp.polri.go.id - Medan.  State-owned PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased its fuel stock by five times the normal consumption to prepare for the MotoGP event at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, NTB, from 27 to 29 September 2024.

Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari assured  on Saturday (21/9/2024) that energy supplies for both spectators and tourists will be secure during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. 

The main supply will come from the Integrated Terminal Ampenan, with a capacity of 40,034 kiloliters, ensuring stocks for all fuel products. Additional supplies will be sourced from Bima and Badas terminals. 

Pertamina has also installed a modular Pertashop within the circuit, offering Pertamax Turbo for operational use, according to antaranews.com..

Avtur supplies for increased flights will be secured from Lombok International Airport and Salahudin. Pertamina anticipates a 76% rise in avtur demand, preparing a 150% stock increase.

For road fuel, stock at local gas stations will rise by 60%, as vehicle numbers are expected to surge during the event. LPG consumption is also projected to rise by 54.6%, with stock increases to match.
