inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Tourism and Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno hopes that the Kompas Travel Fair (KTF) can boost tourism as KTF is one of the largest travel industry exhibitions in Indonesia.

"We hope that the Kompas Travel Fair can increase the movement of tourists coming to Indonesia. Then, we hope that this event can also have a significant impact on the economy in the tourism and creative economy sectors," he said on Friday (9/20/2024).

On this occasion, he said that the KTF is a promotional event as well as an exchange of information from various sectors. Covering tour packages, transportation accommodation, travel agents, tourist villages and the creative economy.

"This activity is a place for tourists to buy tourism products. This event also offers many interesting things," he explained.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Kompas Daily Business, Novi Eastiyanto, said that KTF offers various interesting promos. Starting from airline tickets, industrial equipment, and breakthroughs in special zones, namely religious tourism.

"KTF 2024 not only provides multi airlines, travel agents, and travel accessories, but also provides a variety of experiences from various travel industries. Hopefully, these breakthroughs can support KTF in providing a new nuance and inviting travelers," he explained.
