Inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. In an effort to ensure the safety and security of travelers during the homecoming period, the Lampung Regional Police have deployed sniper teams at several critical points along the Java-Sumatra route. 

"I have placed sniper teams at critical points along the homecoming route. However, the exact locations of these teams are a secret and cannot be disclosed to the public," said the Chief of the Lampung Regional Police Inspector General Helmy Santika as quoted by Antaranews on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

In addition to deploying sniper teams, the Lampung Regional Police have also stationed the Tekab 308 team to proactively uncover and prevent criminal activities during the homecoming period.

He also emphasized that in order to ensure the smooth flow of the traffic during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, all resources of the Lampung Regional Police will be optimized. He hoped that the services provided by the Lampung Regional Police would continue to be effective and not just limited to the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.

"Do not hesitate to take measured and professional action, especially if it involves protecting property, assets, and lives. Do not hesitate," concluded the two-star general.
