inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Criminal Investigation Agency has named 744 suspects throughout 2025. These hundreds of suspects are based on the disclosure of 664 online gambling cases that have been handled.
"We are handling 664 cases with 744 suspects," said the Vice Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Inspector General Nunung Syaifuddin on Wednesday (1/7/2026).
The Director of Cyber Crime, Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji, added that his team has filed a total of 231,517 online gambling websites and prevented 1,764 activities. Meanwhile, the total assets seized have reached IDR 286 billion.
"On the other hand, the money we have confiscated and the assets we have secured are worth IDR 286,256,178,904," he explained.
In the latest disclosure, the Criminal Investigation Agency has dismantled a network of 21 online gambling websites. From this disclosure, the total amount of money and assets seized reached IDR 59 billion.
