Inp.polri.go.id – Serang. Banten Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate is investigating the alleged fake investment in Serang City. The scam reportedly caused the total loss of IDR 1 billion, and the case has gone viral.

“From the latest information we received, there are victims who have reported the case,” said Banten Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Didik Hariyanto on Sunday (4/21/2024).

In his statement, he also states that the case is still being investigated by the investigation unit. Regarding the loss report, the victim reporting the case said that they lost around IDR 19 million.

Furthermore, his party will continue to conduct the investigation by gathering evidence and witness examination. He also welcomes other victims to report if they are also scammed.

The reported is a man with the initial of M (23) form Pejaten, Kaligandu Serang City. He was reported to Banten Regional Police on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024.
