inp.polri.go.id - Tebing Tinggi. Police are currently investigating the death of a man in Serdang Bedagai with an injury on the head.

The Head of Tebing Tinggi Sub-regional Police Public Relations Unit, Police Senior Inspector Mulyono says the police have identified the victim. He is Suhermanto from Krompol.

“According to the witness at the location, the victim was about to steal the power cable of Mitra Tel company at the telecommunication tower. He was said to be falling down from the tower,” says Mulyono on Tuesday (2/18/2025).

Mulyono added that the body was first reported by the people at 04.00 am. Police then immediately went to the location for investigation.

“Based on the initial examination, the victim is suffering head injury due to a hard crash after falling from the tower,” explains Mulyono. 

As of now, police are carrying out a thorough investigation to confirm the chronology of the incident.

“The body has been evacuated to the hospital for further examination,” concludes Mulyono.
