inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The South Tangerang Sub-regional Police is still investigating the death of a student with the initials of S (14) in Palapa street, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The victim allegedly passed away due to injuries from a sharp weapon.

The incident occurred on Friday when the victim was riding a bike with his friend, chased by a group of other teenagers.

His friend managed to escape, while S suffered an injury behind his neck. He left his bike and ran away until he fell unconscious at the location.

“The victim suffered a grave injury after getting hit by a sharp weapon. There’s an open wound behind his neck, resulting in his death. He passed away when he was on the way to the hospital,” said the Head of South Tangerang Sub-regional Police Public Relations Department on Saturday (8/24/2024).

Agil says joint personnel of South Tangerang Sub-regional Police and East Ciputat Sector Police have examined several witnesses at the location and have gathered clues about the perpetrator.

“We are on this case and currently we are on the right track,” concluded Agil.
