inp.polri.go.id - Bekasi. The Central Bekasi Sub-regional Metro Police secures the body of a man named Waryanto (51) in the Bantargebang TPST water channel, Bekasi City, West Java.

The Head of Bekasi City Sub-regional Metro Police, Superintendent Muhammad Firdaus says that Depok Sub-regional Metro Police has examined the 11 witnesses.

“The body has been evacuated to Polri Hospital for autopsy. The joint team also had examined 11 witnesses,” said Superintendent Muhammad Firdaus on Friday (7/19/2024).

Firdaus also says that the evidence such as clothes, cigarettes, and a ring that the victim wore on his left hand have been secured. He also revealed that when the police found the body, they found Waryanto was tied behind his back with his head wrapped in a bag.

“From our physical examination, he had died for more than a day before we found him,” Firdaus says further.

Lastly, according to the initial investigation, Waryanto works as a cleaning service in TPST Bantargebang and has been working for 10 years.
