Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) predicts the peak of traffic flow for the 2025 Eid will be on March 28-30. Deputy Assistant for Main Operations (Waastamops) of INP Chief, Inspector General Endi Sutendi, said that his party had prepared Operation Ketupat to anticipate the peak of the homecoming flow.

Endi says that several traffic engineering simulations have also been prepared for the homecoming and return traffic flow.

"INP will hold Operation Ketupan on March 26 to April 8. We estimated that the peak of the homecoming flow would be on March 28 to 30, while the return flow would be on April 8," says Endi on Tuesday (2/25/2025).

He says that the prepared traffic engineering includes contraflow and one way implementation on the road.

"For the traffic engineering on the toll road, we will adapt to the developing situation on the road, while on the highway we will apply several traffic engineering techniques such as contraflow, one flow, and others that can smoothen the traffic,” says Endi.

According to Endi, the number of travelers for this year’s Eid could exceed 100 million people. In facing this huge challenge, his party will coordinate with related stakeholders to anticipate the huge movement of traffic during the Ramadan holiday.
