The Head of the Public Information Sub-Division of the Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Reonald Simanjuntak, stated that the case review involves not only internal investigators but also representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), and the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).
"The external review is from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the victim's workplace, and includes the rooftop crime scene. Then, our external supervisory component, to ensure transparency, is Komnas HAM," he explained on Monday (7/28/2025).
According to him, the team of experts will also investigate the victim's medical condition based on the autopsy results. This includes the presence of any substances or compounds in Arya's urine, brain, or stomach contents that could potentially reveal the exact cause of death.
"Later, (the expert) will explain what was found in the urine, what was found in the brain, what was found in, if I'm not mistaken, the stomach," he said.
