Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. President Prabowo Subianto on Sunday (14/12/2025) highlighted the need to maintain food security and stable staple prices ahead of rising year-end demand, during a limited cabinet meeting in his private residence inHambalang, Bogor, West Java. 

The meeting focused on national preparation for the Christmas and New Year holiday period, when consumption and mobility typically increase.

“Preparations for the year-end holidays include monitoring food security stability and staple prices,” Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The President instructed relevant ministries and agencies to ensure smooth distribution, stable prices, and sufficient supplies nationwide. The government also reviewed economic conditions, customs and taxation issues affecting logistics, and policy measures to protect purchasing power. 

To support holiday mobility and the economy, the government is rolling out incentives such as discounts on toll roads, airfares, trains, sea transport, and public facilities. In parallel, a national cash transfer program targeting around 30 million beneficiary families is being disbursed through December 2025. Officials said the measures aim to safeguard economic stability while meeting seasonal demand.
