Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has signed a presidential regulation establishing seven coordinating ministries within the "Red and White" Cabinet.
The decrees, signed on Tuesday *5/11/2024), and promulgated by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, detail the roles, functions, and structures of each coordinating ministry.
The newly defined coordinating ministries include the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, which will oversee sectors such as labor, industry, trade, energy, state enterprises, investment, and tourism.
The Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs is tasked with handling internal and foreign affairs, defense, digital communications, law enforcement, the Attorney General’s Office, military, and police.
The Coordinating Ministry for Food will manage agriculture, forestry, marine and fisheries, and the environment, while overseeing national food and nutrition agencies.
Infrastructure and regional development fall under the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development, which will coordinate land affairs, public works, housing, and transportation.
The Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment will focus on social services, protection for migrant workers, rural development, cooperatives, micro, small and medium enterprises, and the creative economy.
Meanwhile, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture will supervise areas like religion, education, culture, health, family planning, youth, and sports.
Finally, the Coordinating Ministry for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections will oversee legal affairs, human rights, immigration, and correctional services.
The decree mandates that each coordinating ministry direct multiple government agencies to ensure cohesive operations within their respective sectors.
They are accessible for public download on jdih.setneg.go.id. The Read and White Cabinet, led by President Prabowo, consists of 48 ministries, including these seven coordinating entities.
