Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has issued sanctions to several players and club officials from Liga 1 and Liga 2 for various infractions during matches.
The Disciplinary Committee convened on 16, 17, 18, and 20 September 2024, and published the decisions on PSSI’s official website on Monday. (23/9/2024), according to antaranews.com.
Borneo FC Samarinda's Nadeo Arga Winata received a one-match ban and a Rp10 million fine for handling the ball outside the penalty area, resulting in a direct red card. Persebaya Surabaya’s Andre Oktaviansyah was suspended for two matches and fined Rp10 million for striking an opponent during the game against Persita Tangerang.
Sriwijaya FC was fined Rp12.5 million and ordered to close the northern stand for two home games due to stadium damage and assault on a steward by supporters.
Persipa Pati was sanctioned for failing to assure the safety of the visiting team, with their official, Agung Prasetyo, banned for six matches for unsporting behavior.
Several other players from clubs such as PSIS Semarang, PSS Sleman, and Semen Padang also received suspensions for violent conduct.
