Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State energy company subsidiary PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has blocked 3,500 vehicle registration numbers in West Sumatra since early 2025 after detecting irregular transactions involving subsidized fuel, including Pertalite and Solar.
“The blocking was based on digital monitoring that revealed unusual transaction patterns at several gas stations,” said Fakhri Rizal Hasibuan, the Sales Area Manager of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga for West Sumatra, on Sunday (9/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
He explained that the measure was carried out through the MyPertamina digital system to ensure that energy subsidies reach those who are truly eligible. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga also issued warnings and sanctions to 54 gas stations found violating distribution rules.
“Actions range from written warnings to temporary suspension of fuel supply, depending on the severity,” Fakhri said, adding that the step ensures transparency and compliance among distributors.
