In a move to enhance public service and streamline the issuance of Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK), the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Indonesian National Police (Pusinafis) has launched the AK23 Online Ticketing Application to improve the fingerprint registration process for SKCK services. AK23 application is a novel method for fingerprint registration, allowing applicants to complete the process digitally. The application is an innovation by Pusinafis to improve public service standards in the collection and formulation of fingerprints for SKCK issuance. "This application is a testament to the INP commitment in improving the quality of services to the public while addressing the challenges of the digital age. We hope that the AK23 application will function as a data bank for Inafis," Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said on Tuesday (12/12/2023). He urged regional identification unit members to enhance communication and collaboration with intelligence and information units to maximize the fingerprint collection process. The optimization of the AK23  application is crucial in expanding the database, including applicant identities, photos, and demographic information, as a key performance indicator for Pusinafis' success.
