“Also to develop a clean, effective, democratic, trusted, accountable, and transparent governance,” adds Nasaruddin on Thursday (2/20/2025).
The Minister of Religious Affairs emphasized that there are six archival regulations that must be the guidelines for his staff, namely orderly archival policies, orderly archival organizations, orderly archival resources.
Then, orderly archival facilities and infrastructure, orderly archival management, and orderly archival funding.
"Let us unite our hearts, minds and intentions in working to make the national movement a success," said the Minister Nasaruddin.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Kamaruddin Amin said that his party still has challenges in the field of archiving.
According to him, the ministry still needs experts in the field of archiving. However, he is grateful that his party is still heavily involved in securing important archives to be sent to the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI).
"Our employees who are in charge of or are given the mandate to manage archives are still lacking. We still need professional staff, we need those who are competent in their fields," said Secretary General Kamaruddin.
In his closing statement, Kamaruddin believes that archives are a memory of the journey of civilization of a nation, society, or community. Therefore, the quality of archive management shows the quality of an institution, self, or civilization.
