inp.polri.go.id - The Indonesian National Police continues to give their best service for the people of Cianjur affected by the earthquake. The Head of National Police Medical Unit, dr. Asep Hendradina, said that the police have made a task force to serve medical service in Cianjur to treat the dead, injured, or ill. Personnel involved in those medical service program are 261 personel, consist of 21 specialists, 41 general practitioners, five dentist, 96 nurses, 36 health workers, and 62 non-health workers. The current data shows that Bhayangkara Cianjur Hospital has treated 463 patients, consists of 281 minor injured patientes, 72 heavy injured patients, 55 surgery, and 30 patients moved to other hospitals. Meanwhile Setukpa Bhayangkara Hospital have treated two minor injured patients and treated seven hospitalized patients. “From the data of Disaster Victim Identification, there are 149 bodies successfully identified by the team and identification process is still ongoing,” he said. Police did not only build medical post in hospitals, but they also made mobile post in several areas who had handled hundreds patients. “We also deployed Mobile Brigade patrol using motorbike, alongside with volunteers from Metro Jaya Police, to get to the isolated areas and provide medical services there,” he said. The police also still open for any missing person report for any of those who feels like they are missing a family member.
