Inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized that his staff together with related parties are ready to secure the implementation of the takbiran night until the Eid al-Fitr prayer throughout Indonesia.

"Regarding the security of the takbiran night, as well as the implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers, this is one of our tasks in the Ketupat Operation, in addition to securing the series of homecoming and return flows," said General Sigit at Bakauheni Port, Lampung, Thursday (20/4/23).

General Sigit said that currently, the police ranks throughout Indonesia have conducted mapping related to the areas that will carry out the Eid al-Fitr prayers. With these efforts, the Police can prevent the occurrence of things that disturb the security situation and public order. So that all Muslims who celebrate Victory Day can live it solemnly, safely, and comfortably.

He also revealed that he had instructed all of his staff to prepare strategies and steps to realize that the entire series could run safely and conductively.

"This pleases all ranks to closely monitor and take steps. So that the series of Takbiran nights can be carried out properly, and solemnly. And Eid prayer activities can be carried out safely and smoothly. All levels of the National Police, both open and closed, are ready to secure and escort," said General Sigit.

On the other hand, he appealed to the public not to carry out convoys during Takbiran nights. Residents are asked to recite the takbir at the mosque and mushala around their residences.

"As much as possible, avoid convoys that can interfere too far, even if they are limited. However, if Takbir is carried out in their respective places without a convoy, of course, it will be much better. Please coordinate with local authorities. So that activities can be guarded and secured," closed the Chief of INP.
