During the past month, the Lampung Directorate of Narcotics' Investigation has arrested 25 suspects in drug crime cases. From the arrests of the suspects, the Lampung Regional Police also seized 52 kg of crystal methamphetamine evidence, 13,478 ecstasy pills, and 150 kg of marijuana. All of the confiscated evidence was destroyed at the Lampung Regional Police Headquarters yard. The extermination was led directly by the Chief of Regional Police Lampung, Police Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno, by dissolving it using a blender mixed with liquid. Chief of Regional Police Lampung said that the evidence resulted from the disclosure of cases committed by his staff during the past month. During Ramadan, the Lampung Regional Police are more concerned with disclosing narcotics. "There is also a target for our operation, for narcotics distributors and users," explained Hendro Sugiatno, Monday (10 May 2021). In this disclosure, at least twenty five suspects were arrested, both distributor and drug users. Previously on 29 April 2021, , the Lampung Directorate of Narcotics' Investigation arrested one perpetrator in the Jati Agung area, South Lampung. "From these arrests, 26 packages of narcotics of the type of crystal meth weighing 6.72 kg and marijuana weighing 247.8 grams were also secured. The perpetrators were charged under Article 114 Hendro Sugiatno.
