He conveyed this after carrying out the commemoration ceremony for the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara at the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulsel) HQ, Tuesday (5/7/22). What he meant by that is that the community are asked to also participated in maintaining security in the region, as it is the duty of the police. That way, even if there is no police, public order and security still could be maintained. "We hope that the community becomes a police officer for themselves, for their families, and of course for the community itself," said the Two-Star General. He also hopes that the community will take an active role in maintaining public safety. Especially within the scope of family and their surroundings. "We ask for your support," asked Kapolda Sulsel. The celebration of Bhayangkara's 76th Anniversary, he said, became the momentum of self-introspection for the police institution. According to him, over the past year or so, the police indeed still make some mistakes. But he will continue to evaluate every performance he does, then improve and continue to provide the best service for the community in the future. "We also ask for the support of religious and community leaders and all levels of society," said the former Metro Jaya Police Chief. "We will continue to do our best for the community," he concluded.
