The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo implores the public who wants to travel to be wise in using their time in the rest area as congestion could potentially occur in the rest area entrance due to queue. General Sigit urged people to go the arterial road if they intend to rest. The Police General also reminds that there are many rest areas in arterial roads that can be used as a place of rest. “If there are any of you who want to rest when the rest area is full, you can go towards the arterial road. This is because the arterial road has many places that can be used as places to rest,” said General Sigit on Saturday (4/6/2024). According to General Sigit, there will be personnel who will direct the traffic flow if the rest area is full. The General Sigit reminds that the limit for the rest area is 30 minutes. “We will put signs for the rest area that are full and we will station our personnel in the front gate to give chances for others to rest,” noted the police chief.
