According to Gatot, "Polri works in accordance with the constitution, laws and regulations, established SOPs and professional codes of ethics. Some of the main tasks of Polri that some people may not like are the law enforcement, such as ticketing traffic violators, detaining suspects, and processing criminals. This function has the potential to generate hate," he said. This assertive statement has deep meaning and urgency with the current situation. The police as law enforcement officers must work with the law. The law that will create security and order. Indonesia is a democratic country.
