inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry), stated that they are ready to build an Industrial Training Center (BDI) in Batam City to increase the competency of industrial human resources (HR).

Head of Industrial Human Resources Development, Masrokhan, says that his party has received 8,765 square meters of land from the Batam Concession Agency.

“The Economy Coordinating Ministry and Batam Concession Agency gave their support for the building of Batam BDI and recommends for Batam BDI establishment preparation acceleration, particularly on land provision, land revitalization, as well as preparing academic manuscripts for submission to the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform," he said, quoted from the Antaranews page, on Monday (7/29/2024).

In his statement, he said that the building will focus on training with the industrial competency specifications in the fields of metal, machinery, aeronautics, information technology, electronics and shipping. This is because workers in this sector are needed to advance industry in Batam.

At the end of his statement, Masrokhann says that the training will take the form of 3 in 1 based training. This means that in one training, participants can get three benefits at once, namely competency training, certificates that are useful for career advancement, and job placement in related industries.
