Police Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Syamsu Ridwan revealed that 35 people died, 46 people were seriously injured, and 388 people were slightly injured.

"Safety remains our top priority. Therefore, we continue to urge the public to be careful on the road," explained Syamsu Ridwan on Saturday (12/28/2024).

On the other hand, he detailed the number of trips by ship carrying passengers up to 179 trips. From hundreds of trips, the number of passengers reached 56,207 people.

"The ship also carried two-wheeled vehicles 1,645 units, four-wheeled vehicles 6,414 units, buses 580 units, and trucks 4,939 units," he said.
