inp.polri.go.id - The Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi says the Airport of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) can officially operate.

"(It can be landed by the presidential aircraft) in early September," said Minister of Transportation Budi, on Monday (8/26/2024).

He highlights that the airport preparation, including its runway, has been tested on Sunday (8/25/2024).

Previously, President Joko Widodo will move to IKIN in September 2024. Meanwhile, the runway test of IKN Airport has been carried out and went smoothly. The test involved a King Air type 200 PK CAO calibration aircraft.

"The takeoff and landing test process carried out using a King Air type 200 PK CAO calibration aircraft, went smoothly and successfully," explained Minister of Transportation Budi.
