Several of the traffic jam locations, said Budi, are commonly around the traditional market. “Therefore, I asked Central Java, West Java, and East Java Regional Police Chiefs to immediately discuss the matter,” said the Minister following the Cross Sectoral Coordination Meeting of 2024 Ketupat Operation on Monday (3/25/2024). Furthermore, for the traffic situation in ports, Budi also asked regional police chiefs to anticipate traffic jams at the port and pier. “For matters relating to the water traffic flow, Riau Island Regional Police Chief, East Java Regional Police Chief, particularly Madura, then East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, and South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief also paid attention to that matter,” said Minister Budi.
