Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Investment and Head of the Coordinating Board for Investment (BKPM), Rosan Roeslani, announced that the family of U.S. President elect Donald Trump is interested in investing in Indonesia.
Speaking after accompanying President Prabowo Subianto at a meeting with the he States Indonesia Society (USINDO) in Washington, D.C., on Monday (11/11/2024), he highlighted that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and a prominent investor, is keen to explore business opportunities in Indonesia.
“Jared Kushner expressed interest in investing in Indonesia during a dinner we attended some time ago,” Minister Rosan stated during an online briefing with the Presidential Secretariat on Tuesday.
Kushner, a real estate developer and former senior advisor to President Trump, is known for his involvement in various business ventures, including Kushner Companies.
The Trump family already has significant investments in Indonesia, such as Trump Residences Lido in Bogor, West Java, a luxury resort and residential complex covering 350 hectares with amenities like golf courses and restaurants. Meanwhile, Trump Residences Bali is under development in Tanah Lot, offering ultra-luxury homes with beach and golf club facilities.
Minister Rosan emphasized that these investments reflect the Trump Organization’s continued interest in Indonesia’s luxury real estate market, aiming to boost economic ties between the two nations.
