inp.polri.go.id –  The West Kalimantan Regional Police provided 100 food packages to flood victims in Baru Village, Melawi Kiri Hilir Village and Suka Damai Village on Monday (10/10). Melawi Police Chief AKBP Sigit Eliyanto Nurharjanto, confirmed that the 100 food supplies were given to flood-affected residents. The police chief also hopes that the public will be more careful and vigilant in these current extreme weather by prioritizing their safety and their families. "For people affected by floods, if they want to leave their vehicles, they can be deposited at the nearest Police Station, both the Traffic Post or Nanga Pinoh Police," said the Melawi Police Chief. This assistance was accompanied by the Regent of Melawi, Dadi Sunarya Usfa Yursa, and the Regional Government Communication Forum. In addition to seeing the conditions firsthand, on that occasion free medical treatment was provided for the flood victims.
